Maximum Glass Size

MIN MAX SIZES

The minimum size we can manufacture in toughened glass must have one dimension exceeding 250mm. If both the height and width are less than 250mm the glass cannot be toughened, and will need to be made in annealed or laminated glass.

Any unit over the area of 2.8m² must be made in 6mm glass rather than 4mm glass.

Any unit over 1600mm in both directions is not a standard product and is subject to a longer lead time and higher price - please check before ordering.

Any unit over 3.50m² is not a standard product and is subject to a longer lead time and higher price - please check before ordering.

Our Largest pane of glass is 3210mm in width, so anything over these sizes will be subject to availability and cost.

Laminated Glass exceeding 3.5m² will need to be increased from 6.4 to a thicker laminated, depending on the size and nature of the use for the product will determine the thickness needed.

Pattern stock sheets run 1320x2140 except for Satin Glass which is 3210x2250

The below information is a guide only please check your exact glazing size with the criteria detailed above.

Glass weight formula

Width of Glass x Height of Glass x Thickness of the glass (i.e 2 panes of 4mm would be 8) x 2.5 this will give you the weight in KG.
